About me
Sandee Miller is an accomplished nonprofit leader with more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in organizations serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and in higher education. Her previous roles include Senior Administrator and Dean of Students, as well as leadership positions overseeing residential and adult services and serving as a Chief Compliance Officer.
Sandee holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Surface Pattern Design and a Master of Science in Higher Education with a concentration in Personnel Administration, both from Syracuse University.
Throughout her career, Sandee has led strategic and business-planning initiatives, implemented major organizational and operational changes, and guided agencies through transitions to fee-for-service systems. She has supported organizations through licensing and accreditation reviews, evaluated programs and departments, and developed recommendations to strengthen staffing practices, service quality, compliance, and team cohesion.
As a Certified Therap Trainer, Sandee has successfully led electronic health record implementation initiatives at multiple agencies. She is also an experienced facilitator and presenter who has worked with groups of varying sizes at both local and national levels.
Sandee is proud to serve as Associate Executive Director at The Arc of Somerset County, where she continues her commitment to improving services, creating opportunities, and enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
